Amongst the ideals of art, love and the cruel realities of cold winter, BK Opera explores the often-misrepresented themes of classism and creativity in Puccini’s classic opera La Bohème. BK Opera takes audiences deep into the salons and cafés of 1950s Paris through a unique theatrical experience at the Wesley Anne.

Taking place in a low lit former church, this pub gives La Bohème a new intimate and cabaret ambience. A poet, a painter, a musician and a philosopher struggle with life, love and keeping warm in their Latin Quarter garret. Through the eyes of these bohemian battlers, we experience infatuation, heart break, lust, and seduction.
