Coming off the success of their critically acclaimed Abduction, BK Opera brings their 2018 to a thought provoking end with a unique double bill of Gluck operas - Orphée et Euridice and Iphigénie en Tauride – from 31 October to 4 November, at Studio 1, Northcote Town Hall.

Both operas, drawn from Ancient Greek legends, centre on loss and trauma: loss of loved ones, loss of homeland and identity. Orphée must brave the furies to save her wife, Euridice. Iphigenie must face the aftermath of her family’s troubled and violent history.
